Simulation context
This simulation shows a simplified model of the Earth-Moon system, using gravity to demonstrate how mass and speed affect the orbit. With interactive sliders, you can change the parameters and watch the orbits update in real time, helping you intuitively understand the physics behind them.
This was the first simulation I made, aiming to show a physical phenomenon in a somewhat realistic way. Working with the laws of gravity was especially fascinating, and I encourage anyone curious about a scientific concept to try making their own simulations. Of course, the simulation isn’t fully accurate when it comes to collisions between celestial bodies—simulating the formation of new planets is beyond my current skills—but I hope you enjoy the idea and the approach behind it.
